Areas of interest in Japan/India
As a practising Company Secretary with an established practice in India, my areas of interest with Japan primarily revolve around fostering cross-border business and investment collaborations. This includes facilitating Japanese companies in establishing and managing their business presence in India through advisory on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and ongoing statutory obligations under Indian company law. I am also keen on exploring opportunities for knowledge exchange in areas such as corporate governance practices, ESG implementation, and digital compliance management. Strengthening professional linkages between governance professionals in both countries, and promoting ease of doing business through harmonized compliance and transparency standards, are key focus areas of my engagement.
