Dr. Ajay Kumar is Associate Professor, Mechanical Engineering, IIT Tirupati. He received his Ph.D. from IISc Bengaluru and specializes in advanced materials, composites, additive/hybrid manufacturing, tribology, surface engineering, and materials processing. His research focuses on microstructural engineering, sustainable manufacturing, and AI-enabled materials development for automotive, aerospace, defence, energy, and semiconductor applications. He is also Founder of Auto Composites Pvt. Ltd.
